Key Elements of a Nonconformance Report
A well-structured Nonconformance Report should include several critical components to ensure comprehensive documentation and effective resolution of issues. Let’s explore these essential elements:NCR Title and Reference
The report should begin with a clear, concise title that summarizes the nonconformance. Additionally, a unique reference number should be assigned to facilitate easy tracking and retrieval of the document.Date and Personnel Information

This information establishes accountability and helps in communication throughout the resolution process. Signatures of both parties should be included to validate the document.Description of the NCR

- Which standard or procedure was deviated from?
Root Cause, Correction, and Corrective Action
This section, completed by the receiver, should address:- The underlying reasons for the nonconformity
- Immediate actions to correct the issue
