$550 Million Contracts for UAE Gas Pipeline Expansion

In July 2024, ADNOC Gas awarded engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts worth $550 million (AED2 billion) to NMDC Energy and Galfar Engineering & Contracting for the next phase of the UAE sales gas pipeline network enhancement project called ESTIDAMA. The project will extend the UAE’s natural gas pipeline network from approximately 3,200 kilometers to over 3,500 kilometers.

$400 Million Contract for Ruwais LNG Project

In October 2023, ADNOC awarded a contract valued at more than $400 million to Baker Hughes for the supply of all-electric compression systems for the liquefaction of natural gas, to be powered by clean energy, for its low-carbon LNG asset in Al Ruwais Industrial City. The Ruwais LNG project will be the first in the MENA region to run on clean power, making it one of the lowest carbon intensity LNG facilities in the world.

$5.5 Billion EPC Contracts for Ruwais Refinery Expansion

In June 2024, ADNOC awarded EPC contracts worth $5.5 billion for the expansion of its Ruwais refinery, which aims to build the ‘single-largest integrated refinery and petrochemicals complex in the world’. The contracts were awarded to a joint venture led by Technip Energies, JGC Corporation and NMDC Group.

$17 Billion of Contracts for Gas Project Aiming for Net Zero CO2 Emissions

In October 2023, ADNOC awarded $17 billion worth of contracts for a gas project aiming to achieve net zero CO2 emissions.
